Joshua Gallas / Director

A native of Arlington, TX, with a Masters in Fine Arts from the University of Texas at Arlington, Joshua has over a decade of experience creating commercials, documentaries, features, and short films. As an EMMY Award-winning director, much of his storytelling is inspired by the communities he has been immersed in during his world travels, such as Turkey, Nepal, Uganda, Brazil, and Kyrgyzstan. His work has won numerous awards, including several Gold ADDYs and a Regional EMMY for best-branded content. His narrative films and screenplays have been at multiple Oscar, BAFTA, and Canadian Screen Qualifying festivals, such as Indy Shorts, Dallas International Film Festival, and Carmarthen Bay Film Festival.

In Joshua’s approach, he strives for his work to not inflict a forced opinion but to provide a perspective not yet explored by viewers.
