Three projects done for Allen Fire Department were nominated for a 2025 Lone Star Emmy. Including Best Branded Content, Best Human Interest Story, and Best Interview/Discussion piece.
Our team is incredibly honored for this work to get recognition, but not nearly as honored as we are to tell important stories like these for the true heroes at Allen Fire Department. Here's a peek at the nominated pieces:
Branded Content - Called To Protect: Join Allen Fire
With a fast moving job like firefighting, it's easy to forget to slow down and remember the lives you've touched in your career. This project reunited firefighters with the people they helped in some of the most vulnerable moments in their lives. Reminding everyone what's truly important at the end of the day.
Human Interest - Smoke
Smoke is a short film created in partnership with the Allen Fire Department and BetterHelp. Smoke follows a firefighter returning home after the toughest shift of his career, opening an honest and necessary conversation around mental health in the first responder community.
Interview/Discussion - Allen Strong: Responding Together
In one of the most horrific events the city of Allen has ever experienced. Allen Fire Department's response to the mass shooting on May 6th, 2023 was not only brave but perfectly executed due to the preparation and training put in beforehand. Making this piece a shareable message to fire departments across the U.S. on why being prepared and communicative is essential.
