The Festival Run is Over and 'Smoke' Publicly Releases

Smoke is a short film created by Prelude Films in partnership with the Allen Fire Department and BetterHelp. Smoke follows a firefighter returning home after the toughest shift of his career, opening an honest and necessary conversation around mental health in the first responder community.

Smoke has lived many lives in the film festival circuit this year. It has connected us with brilliant filmmakers and brought light to many frontline workers going through a similar situation in their own lives. We're honored to see the awards Smoke has received, but more than that honored to be played at some incredible festivals. A huge thank you to those who put on these amazing events and for choosing to include Smoke in them.

To our cast & crew. You dealt with pouring rain, thick smoke scenes, and remained happy through the depths of the night shoots. You believed in this story as much as we did. And we hope whenever you saw Smoke get into another festival, that you knew that was your achievement as much as it was ours. Here's to Smoke, and the next story to be told!
